Story of the Angel
When we stepped across the threshold of the new millennium and the new century, I mentioned in all of my public speaking encounters - that it was a world unknown, except to God. Indeed!
So, we come to the first Easter of the new millennium, very grateful for the RISEN CHRIST and our personal relationship with HIM, however, very very sad at the loss of our beloved son, Mark Adam.
We are very grateful for our other beautiful children, Carl and Alison, however, in all candidness, this is our saddest Easter in 22 years.
On the evening after Marks death, in the midst of a moment of tears, aloneness and despair, as we were traveling to our home in Kingman - Arizona, our heavenly Father rendered a sign that He would never leave us nor forsake us and he filled the sky with angels. I instantly stopped my automobile and with the marvel of film captured the angel on the front, which was over our house. You be the judge!
Markie (always his dad's name for him), loved the enclosed writings. He read either or both at many many Easter services. Marcia and I share them with you, as Mark would have wanted us to do, this Easter.
My beautiful and loving wife has stood by me through hours and hours of convulsive tears, and without her love and prayers and faith, in all honesty, I could not be ministering at all, this Easter. She is my "ANGEL OF HOPE," that brings me back to the Easter Story we have shared for 35 years of ministry.
In reality, Marcia and I have no concept and make no promises of tomorrow - only today.
So, we bring you this Easter folder as our Easter gift.
Amidst the storm of sadness that surrounds us, through the break in the clouds, we sense the risen Christ and share HIM with you, our dear church family and the family of God, near and afar.
Love at Easter 2000 Pastor Ron, Marcia and Alison Fair
